Henry is a physical geographer and geomorphologist. His research focuses on earth surface dynamics, and he is particularly interested in erosional processes, sediment dynamics, and associated natural hazards. Beyond that, he is absolutely passionate about tweaking, analysis and representation of (geo)spatial data.

From a professional perspective, Henry attaches particular importance to classic fieldwork, geomorphometry, cosmogenic isotope applications, the use of geographic information systems, and multivariate statistics.

An essential item in Henry’s toolkit

“Mobility is a fundamental necessity for a physical geographer – I, therefore, opt for a good pair of shoes.”
