Building connections with communities

Thanks to the community representatives from Borroloola, in the Northern Territory, who visited research teams at the University of Wollongong and Monash University Nodes recently, to find out more about CABAH’s work and discuss partnerships in the Limmen National Park area.

Glenn Durie, Manager of Aboriginal Partnerships for the Parks and Wildflie Commission, Nothern Territory, commented:

“It was a great opportunity to learn about some of the technological processes involved and see where it all happens – now we understand why results take time.

“Now we can explain to people back in our communities what CABAH does and we can think about what research we can do together back on Country.”
